SUBJECT: Mysteries of Sedona

SPEAKER: Fred Gunn

ABSTRACT:

From 2006 to 2007 Fred Gunn and his family had a year long sabbatical in the Sedona, Arizona area. Sedona (population 16,000) with a MUFON Chapter is a picturesque town of red rock formations resulting from the high iron content of the soil. Fred brought Remote Viewing and Remote Healing technologies to the area which were accepted with open arms. His wife Christie brought orgonite and gemstone expertise which was greeted with open minds. During their stay in Sedona they had a wide range of paranormal experiences including but not limited to : interdimensional portals, UFOs, self-proclaimed aliens, the New Age culture, skinwalkers, intense energies (sometimes called vortices), healings, orbs, and much more. Fred will be presenting photographic evidence of UFOs and other personal experiences with a PowerPoint presentation as well.

BIO:

When our speaker was a teenager he had several close encounters of the first kind within weeks of each other. These launched him on a lifelong journey into paranormal investigations. Since then he has traveled extensively in Europe and Asia and has lived in Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Italy, all the while researching paranormal phenomena and practicing various martial arts. He found the mental disciplines to be a great advantage in his paranormal research. In 1999 Fred discovered and began training in Remote Viewing while living in Honolulu, Hawaii. Currently Fred is the Director of the Paranormal Science Institute (www.paranormalscienceinstitute.org) which is comprised of a group of talented and dedicated people with strong interests in the research and development of psychic abilities. He is a former MUFON Assistant Director for Hawaii and has lectured here in San Diego for various groups such as MUFON, the San Diego UFO Society and the San Diego Chat Club. Also Fred was a guest on the Journey into the Void program on chemtrails produced by David Piper of David Piper Productions. About Our Presentation of Paranormal Topics The nature, origin and basis for UFO phenomena may be more complex than is evident to UFO researchers (ufologists). The extraterrestrial abduction aspect of the UFO subject indicates the use of telepathy, levitation, teleportation and similar effects. There seem to be components and associations of UFO events that are in the realm of the paranormal. In many abductions, cattle mutilations and crop circles extraneous effects bordering on the paranormal are often noted in investigations. Early investigators of Remote Viewing and telepathy included such scientists as Hal Puthoff, Russell Targ and Dean Radin. Even earlier studies were conducted by Dr. Rhine of the Rhine Institute at Duke University. Until more research is conducted into the nature and origin of the UFO phenomena by organizations such as MUFON , one should keep an open mind relative to the paranormal realm as applicable to the study of UFOs.

News and Announcements

The Stephenville Texas Events--Investigations are ongoing and are expected to take a long time before any conclusions are announced to the public. The multitude of sightings evidently originated around Jan 8-Jan 10 of 2008 in the vicinity of this small Texas town of 17,000 residents some 60 miles SW of Fort Worth. Yes, there are two Air Force bases nearby with Dyess in Abilene and Sheppard in Wichita Falls plus the 301st Fighter Wing at the Joint Reserve Base Naval Air Station at Fort Worth. MUFON investigators have been on the scene interviewing some 50+ witnesses. Any photos obtained by the investigators will be submitted for photoanalysis by Dr. Bruce Maccabee, optical physicist and MUFON photoanalyst. News reports have appeared in many media. Coast to Coast with George Noury has had numerous programs with witness interviews as well as an interview with a local reporter who had her job terminated by the local publisher.. Coast to Coast has also had specials with the latest findings of Linda Howe whose earthlink website carries the latest updates. Stay tuned until final conclusions evolve from the work of the MUFON organization. One by-product of all the Texas UFO news is a quadrupling of UFO sighting reports to MUFON.

News of UFOs in Brazil--A.J. Gevaerd, Editor of Brazilian UFO Magazine and MUFON Representative in Brazil has been covering a series of events in Riolandia which is in the far NW region of Sao Paulo State by the banks of the Rio Grande. Events started here Jan 20, 2008. Gevaerd made his first trip to the region on Jan 26 and his second on Feb 8. A huge UFO had been sighted by many witnesses at the Piapara Inn at 3AM. There was also a mysterious crushing of plants at a nearby sugar plantation. Many area residents have seen luminous phenomena of blue to red color. A team of ufologists and specialists is spending considerable time in the area. Still more time will be needed to continue this investigation and reach conclusions. So in many ways it is like the Stephenville situation in Texas. Bob Platt, a MUFON researcher now deceased visited nearby Brazilian areas a number of years ago and wrote a book on the area. It should also be noted that the Brazilian Air force has previously conducted its own investigation of many Brazilian UFO sightings and abductions. Dr. Roger Leir of abduction implant fame has conducted research in Brazil involving the Vargaina alien sightings and capture.

And Now from Turkey There has been a breakthrough development regarding the Kumburgaz sighting. This sighting goes back to July-August 2007 in the Kumburgaz/Istanbul area of Turkey. Objects observed by witnesses in the area were caught on video by a night guard. Finally the footage was analyzed by TUBITAK (National Science and Technology Researach Board of Turkey). The Board analyzed the video and determined it to be genuine and the objects in the film were determined to be UFOs. These analyses and testimonies of witnesses will be shown at the 2008 International UFO Conference in Laughlin.

Our Jan 2008 Speaker -- Many thanks go out to Paola Harris and her most interesting two day lecture series in San Diego and Carlsbad on the topic of Exopolitics. And many thanks to Lesley Ash and Lori Wagner for arranging, assisting, and making this lecture series such a complete success.

As We Go To Press -- Fox Channel 6 TV aired a five minute UFO program combining interviews with MUFON San Diego Section Dir. Mel Podell, interviews with two witnesses to a sighting on the edge of Miramar Marine Air Base at the site, and lots of publicity for MUFON in the interviews and props. The program was shown on Wed. Feb 27 at 6 and 8PM. By coincidence many SD residents reported at around sunset on the 27th numerous sightings of strange lights in the sky mostly around the coast. MUFON received some 17 sighting reports. Now Friday Feb 29 a Navy Captain just issued a statement advising this was a Navy Seal night exercise using pyrotechnic devices strapped to the legs of the parachutists causing reports of meteors and other odd lights.
