Welcome to the UFO Information page for the San Diego Orion and San Diego MUFON organizations. San Diego may not be well known for UFO sightings but it is where I live and so I've developed this website for all those who may be curious about UFO activity here. Due to the distances involved between solar systems, extraterrestrial visitation would seem unlikely; especially if you don't beleive in faster-than-light travel. Yet, there have been a number of unexplained reports from very reliable and well educated witnesses. The government has discontinued official investigation of UFO reports from the public and they are a very low priority for police agencies. This leaves it, primarily, up to volunteers to respond to UFO reports. The two volunteer groups represented here are among many that have arisen to fill the void of UFO investigation.
Comment
It is easy to escape into fantasy from an unfair and sometimes cruel world. It is even easier to be caught up in someone else's Ideas and fantasies. Life is a precious thing. It should not be given up easily. While we support freedom of religion, The "San Diego UFO Information Homepage" and it's represented organizations reject UFO cults and the practice of religious suicide.
